Okay, I admit it. I have a newsletter.

This is where I try to sell you on subscribing to it. But let’s be honest. That’s what everyone does these days. You sign up, you get some stuff in your inbox every so often and after a while you forget why you subscribed in the first place.

My newsletter is different.

I know, we all say that. But if it makes you feel any better, here is a list of reasons why you should not subscribe to my newsletter. Maybe that’ll make you see that I’m honestly trying to do something really different than all the rest of the internet newsletter people out there.

Reason #1 – It’s Going To Be Interesting

Sure, every newsletter out there is supposed to have some kind of content in it that will keep you interested and excited about being a subscriber – but many fail. My newsletter will be a cross section of different things. Maybe it’s about a cool place I visited recently one time and the next time it’s an unusual recipe I want to share with you. It won’t be the same each time so you won’t get bored.

Reason #2 – It’s Going To Be Infrequent

I get it. You don’t want your inbox stuffed with junk. I’m not going to do that. In fact, by the time you may have just started to forget that I exist you’ll receive another newsletter. I don’t want to send you so much that you get sick of me before you actually get to know me. I want to share with you things as they happen. So, in other words, when I think it’s time for something new, you’ll hear from me.

Reason #3 – It’s Going To Expand Your Horizons

Everyone says this sooner or later. But, you know what? It’s actually true with my newsletter. I want to share with you some pretty amazing experiences and places so that you can consider doing the same. Let me push you outside your comfort zone every so often. Maybe you’ve thought about doing something a little bit on the daring side. Let me show you some of those things. It’ll be scary and fun at the same time.

Reason #4 – It’s Going To Be Inspiring

Stay with me here. The things I will be sharing with you on my website and in the newsletter will not be things I wish I could do. The events, places, experiences and activities I will discuss will be things I have actually done. I haven’t hired a ghost writer to fabricate any of it. The straight goods are true and are about what has happened to me. I figure if I can do this stuff, you can too and maybe my tips will inspire you to check out some of them.

Reason #5 – It’s Going To Make Your Friends Jealous

Let’s twist this around a little bit. Imagine if your BFF was the one that subscribed to my newsletter and kept telling you about the amazing places they have visited or foods they’ve eaten all because of a little e-mail from me? Wouldn’t that just kind of bug you a little bit knowing that you had the chance to do the same but chose not to? Don’t be that guy. Be the guy who signs up, gets my newsletter and tells friends about what they are missing.

Reason #6 – It’s Going To Cost You Nothing

It had to be said. I realize it’s typically a hook line to try to convince you that there is no expense and no obligation on your part to sign up for any newsletter. So, I’m going to toss it out there. It’s going to cost you nothing but…it is going to gain you so much in knowledge and possibilities. Don’t believe me? Sign up today and see if I’m right.

Reason #7 – It’s Going To Be Fun

I mean, really? Take my newsletters with you anywhere. Read them on your smartphone on the bus to work, check them out on your tablet while doing laundry. You can even follow them on your laptop while sunning on the beach. The point is, wherever you are and whatever you are doing you can escape your reality for just a little while by reading what is in my latest newsletter. I promise you, it will be fun!

Don’t Subscribe To My Newsletter

So, there you have it. Seven reasons why you should not subscribe to my newsletter. I hope I have given you options to ponder and consider and thanks for visiting my website. Remember, if you have decided to not subscribe to my newsletter there are no hard feelings. But you will be hearing about me from your friends who do click on the ‘subscribe’ button. Do you really want that to happen?
